Brad's Garmin Connector Page

Brad is one of several individuals selected by Purple Computing to distribute aftermarket Garmin GPS cable connectors to individuals who might like to assemble their own data/power cables.

I will ship 2 or less connectors to you on a pledge basis. You can return your payment to me after you receive your connectors. For quantities larger than 2, email me for pricing and payment arrangements. The normal pledge is $10 for 2 pPlugs and $15 for 2 ePlugs. See the bottom of this page for ordering instructions.

The connectors on the left are for the earlier series of GPS units. These include the Garmin 12, 12xl, 38, 40, 45, 48, 89, 90, 92, 295, GPS II, II+, III, III+ and Street Pilots.

The connector on the right is for the newer eTrex and eMap units. (Remember, you need to drop the voltage to 3 volts for these models.)

Note, the instructions the link goes to mentions bending the metal pins. I've pre-bend the metal contacts for you - they're ready to install in the body of the connector.
